SLPUM Leaders Unite for Harvest 2025
Rooted in its core values of ðpirituality, ðeadership, ðartnership, ðnity, and ðission, the Southern Luzon Philippine Union Mission (SLPUM), the Adventist regional office located in Lipa City held a three-day direction-setting meeting on January 6-8, 2025, at Monte Vista Hotsprings and Conference Resort in Laguna. These guiding principles framed the discussions as 25 leadersâofficers, directors, and administrators from four missions and one conferenceâgathered to align their efforts for Harvest 2025.

SLPUM President, Pastor Gerry Cajobe, laid the foundation by presenting the Unionâs core values, the strategic plan, the world churchâs goals, and the roles of each level of the organization in fulfilling these objectives. His presentation provided clarity and focus, ensuring every leader understood their part in advancing the mission. Pastor Relino Urbi, SLPUM NDR-IEL field secretary further inspired participants by outlining the specifics of Harvest 2025, an evangelism initiative designed to bring transformative growth to the region. Through detailed plans, he emphasized the need for collective effort and Spirit-led dedication in bringing the gospel to unreached areas.

The eventâs theme, Leading the Harvest: A Journey of Faith and Growth, was reinforced by daily devotionals led by Mission presidents. Topics such as Envisioning the Harvest, Preparing for the Harvest, Cultivating the Harvest, Reaping the Harvest, and Celebrating the Harvest aligned with the overall goals, inspiring leaders to embrace their responsibilities with renewed commitment. For Lea Fabon, Cavite Missionâs newly elected Treasurer, the devotionals were both enriching and clarifying. âThe messages inspired me spiritually and made my role in Harvest 2025 clear. It was a privilege to be part of this for the first time,â she shared. Veteran leader Pastor Joven Hitosis of Southern Luzon Mission echoed her sentiments, saying, âThe devotionals tied seamlessly with our discussions, showing how our plans align with Godâs greater mission. I return blessed and ready to apply these insights in my field.â
